Abstract
A paraphrase of the Rules of World Singles Squash (RoWSS2001), which can be found at http://www.worldsquash.org/rulescontents.html
If the striker turns on the ball, and appeals for let, the striker will be awarded a let, unless:
The striker would not have been able to make a good return, Referee rules No Let (RoWSS2001 Rule 9.2.1.1).
There is no reasonable fear of the ball hitting the opponent, Referee rules No Let (RoWSS2001 Rule 9.2.1.2).
The striker used the act of turning to create the opportunity to appeal rather than attempt to return the ball (RoWSS2001 Appendix 1 G11 CREATED INTERFERENCE), Referee rules No Let (RoWSS2001 Rule 9.1.2 and RoWSS2001 Rule 9.2.3).
The opponent did not make every effort to avoid the interference on turning (RoWSS2001 Appendix 1 G5 INTERFERENCE ON TURNING OR A FURTHER ATTEMPT), Referee rules Stroke to Striker (RoWSS2001 Rule 9.2.2.2).
